Registration Process

For new families, we encourage you to have a tour of the school with our director. In order to secure an open spot in a class or to get on the waiting list – your application and a non-refundable, non-transferrable registration fee is required.

Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and dated the day they are received. Priority is given to children of First Presbyterian Church active  members and siblings of current and former students and Small Beginnings students.

All families must have a tour of our school prior to enrollment. To secure placement your child’s application and a non-refundable, non-transferable registration fee is required.

On or before the first day of school the family must provide the following health records for their child: Florida Department of Health School Entry Health Exam form (DH3040) and Florida Certification of Immunization (DH680). We do not accept religious exemptions.

Final Determination of all classes will be made by the preschool staff in order to ensure a balance of boys and girls and provide the best environment for each child’s development. In July, each family will receive a packet regarding the upcoming school year and our Back-to-School Orientation for enrolled students which is held prior to the first day of school.

Fees & Medical Forms

• Registration Fee due at time of registration $350

• Supply Fee of $350

• Physical Examination from (DH3040) and immunization from (DH680) signed by a Florida Physician due on or before the first day of school. We do not accept religious exemptions.

The School Year

Our school year will begins in August and ends in May. Preschool hours are from 9:00 am to 12 noon. Extended hours are available for an additional fee (8:30 am – 9:00 am & 12:00 noon until 3:00 pm). Holidays, vacation days, and foul-weather days are the same as the Sarasota County public schools.
