Registration/Admission Procedure

Prior to enrollment, each family completes an application form for their child and is given a tour of the school. In order to secure class placement, a non-refundable, non-transferrable registration fee is required.

Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and dated the day they are received. Priority is given to children of First Presbyterian Church active  members and siblings of current and former students  and Small Beginnings students. Applications are processed in the order in which they were received.

On or before the first day of school the family must provide the following health records for their child: Florida Department of Health School Entry Health Exam form (DH3040) and Florida Certification of Immunization (DH680).

Final Determination of all classes will be made by the preschool staff in order to ensure a balance of boys and girls and provide the best environment for each child’s development. In July, each family will receive a packet regarding the upcoming school year and our Back-to-School Orientation for enrolled students which is held prior to the first day of school.

Fees & Medical Forms

  • Registration Fee due at time of registration $230* for children in a M-W-F or T-TH class. $280* for children in M through F classes.
  • Registration fee includes a t-shirt
  • $160 Supply Fee for M-W-F and T-TH classes
  • $185 Supply Fee for 5 day a week classes
  • Physical Examination from (DH3040) and immunization from (DH680) signed by a Florida Physician due on or before the first day of school.

The School Year

Our school year will begin on Monday, August 28, and end Friday, May 18. Holidays, vacation days, and foul-weather days are the same as the Sarasota County public schools.
